P.J. Brown original piece

In June of 2016 former NBA star P.J. Brown will be inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in Natchitoches, LA. As the Hall of Fame Artist it's my job to create the inductees portraits. The first thing I have to do is work with the inductees to decide what they want in their portrait and we compile a series of photos for me to work from. While I wait for all nine inductees to get the images to me I choose a few to do an extra piece of. This piece of P.J. is an interesting piece because of the background. I wanted the Celtics logo to be absorbed into the background but I wasn't sure exactly how I was going to do it. Without getting into the specifics it worked quite well and I'm very happy with how it turned out. P.J. will be signing the piece for me in June at the Ceremony.
