Major League Pitcher Russ Springer

One of the coolest parts of what I do as a sports artist is getting to meet athletes and have them sign my work.

Russ Springer, who spent 18 years in the Major Leagues and also pitched for LSU signed my painting of him. Not only was it cool that he signed my painting but I also got to spend two hours talking baseball and family with him.

Russ is a great guy who has influenced so many people in a positive way throughout his life. I've heard from many former Major League players who said that he took them under his wing when they were first called up to the big leagues. Very cool experience and I can't thank him enough for taking the time to sign my piece.
