"Husker" painting finds home in Texas

Growing up in Nebraska I was always a Husker fan. After attending Junior College at Cowley County I had the offer to attend Nebraska but I turned them down for various reasons. While I wanted to play for them I wanted to pitch for Rob Childress at Northwestern State. I've remained a Husker fan despite not playing for them and about ten years ago I did a "Husker" painting. I'm happy to announce that my Husker painting has found a home with Brett Holmes here in Texas. He dad played for Nebraska baseball and Brett has been a fan his entire life. One of the best things about being an artist is seeing the joy on someone's face when they get the painting. I know this painting has found a great home.
