Husband surprises wife with portrait

Percussion teacher Ben Moore decided to contact me to see if I would be able to create a piece of his wife and his two dogs. Of course, I was happy to oblige and I instantly got started. The unique angle of the photograph and the character in the picture made it fun to create. I think the love between Ben's wife and their pups really comes through in the piece. The couch was a challenge all to itself as the color was unique and I had to use four different colors in order to get the color correct. I was happy with how it turned out and as you can see in the picture so was Ben's wife.
